Tuna Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained and flaked
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbs Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbs finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tbs finely chopped celery
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, red onion, celery, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Lay out the 4 slices of whole wheat bread on a clean surface.
  3. Divide the tuna mixture evenly between the two bread slices, spreading it out to cover the entire surface.
  4. Place the remaining two slices of bread on top to create sandwiches.
  5. Serve the tuna sandwiches immediately.

Notes:

  • Feel free to customize the sandwich by adding other toppings such as lettuce, sliced avocado, pickles, or cheese.
  • For an extra kick of flavor, you can sprinkle a bit of lemon juice over the tuna mixture before assembling the sandwiches.
  • Cut into smaller pieces for baby to self feed.
