Ingredients:
- ⅓ cup milk
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1 egg
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 4 slices of white bread
- 2 tbs butter
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, flour, egg, salt, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Whisk the mixture until it becomes a smooth batter.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Allow it to melt and coat the cooking surface.
- Dip each slice of white bread into the batter, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
- Place the dipped bread slices onto the hot skillet or griddle. Cook until they turn golden brown, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the bread slices from the skillet and place them on a serving plate.
- Serve with your choice of toppings like fresh berries, yogurt, banana slices, etc.
Notes:
- Elevate this into a dessert by serving it with whipped cream and a drizzle of honey (for babies over 1 year old).
