Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into cubes
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2-3 tbs butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tbs flour
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, parmesan, flour, and black pepper. Set the sauce aside for later use.
- Season the chicken with garlic powder and paprika.
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for a few minutes per side. When done and nicely browned, set aside.
- Add a little more butter to the pan, then add the minced garlic, sautéing it until fragrant.
- Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until they become tender and slightly golden.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour the prepared sauce into the pan, allowing it to thicken. This typically takes a couple of minutes.
- Once the sauce has thickened, return the cooked chicken to the pan.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve over rice, potatoes, or pasta.
