Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tbs smooth peanut butter
- ½ banana, thinly sliced or 1 tbs of mashed berries
Instructions:
- Using a cup, cut circles out of the slices of bread.
- Spread a thin layer of peanut butter in the center of each bread circle, leaving a small space around the edges.
- Place 3-4 thin slices of banana on one end of the bread. Alternatively, you can mash some fresh berries for filling.
- Fold the bread over and press down the sides to seal.
- Use a fork to firmly seal the edges on both sides.
Notes:
- The “empanada style” adds a fun twist to the meal, but if you’re short on time, you can always make it as a regular sandwich.
